Аннотация:
The ternary iron chalcogenides, TlFeS2, TlFeSe2, RbFeSe2 consisting of linear chains of FeX4 (X=S, Se) tetrahedra, have been investigated by means of magnetic susceptibility, specific heat and Mössbauer measurements. Single crystals of TlFeS2, TlFeSe2, and RbFeSe2 exhibit three-dimensional collinear antiferromagnetic order with strongly reduced moments below 196 K, 290 K, and 248 K, respectively. The magnetic moments are oriented perpendicular to the chain direction. RbFeSe2 and TlFeX2 (X = S, Se) exhibit a continuous linear increase of the susceptibility up to the highest measurement temperature (600K) suggesting 1D metallic character.
